Jonathan helped us navigate the incredibly competitive and daunting bay area market (specifically, SF proper and Marin) for nearly a year. After more than eight months of search for our first house, I can say that we bought the house of our dreams in Sausalito, and we can't be happier. We can't thank Jonathan enough for his thoroughness during this whole process: quick responses any time we needed something from him, simplified our offer processes to the minimum, and gave us full honest feedback every time. I will choose Jonathan for my next house guaranteed!

We spent a great deal of time searching for the right Realtor to sell our home. We were looking for someone who was responsive and genuinely listened to what was important to us. Most important to us was to find someone we can put our trust in and had our best interests in mind. For these reasons, after screening several agents we decided to work with Jonathan. Once we began to work with him we consistently found Jonathan to be very professional, knowledgeable and very experienced at handling any complication that arose. We preferred not to have to do much work or go to much expense having to stage the house and then have endless open house days. Jonathan came up with a plan that allowed us to sell our house, receiving multiple offers, within two weeks of his plan going into action. All that without having to go to market. Thank you Jonathan for your help and guidance and making this an enjoyable experience.

My family relocated to Marin from Brooklyn, NY with, quite frankly, zero-zippity-zip knowledge of northern California. Thankfully, husband found Jonathan on Yelp and hired him (based on all the rave reviews alone!), and he didn't disappoint. From the moment we landed in Marin, Jonathan kept us abreast of all relevant listings, and went out of his way to get us in literal and proverbial doors as early as possible. He has a shrewd knowledge of the Marin market, and he helped us deftly navigate its nuances (ex. when we could expect a windfall of listings; how to handle houses with "emotional" amenities; the negotiation tactics preferred by NorCalifornians). As such, we landed our dream house in three months. Read that again. THREE. MONTHS. (Listen, I know we're new around here, but from what we've heard, that's more or less impossible.) Jonathan has many endearing qualities as a person, but what I most appreciated about him as a realtor was his deep-cut knowledge of all of the Marin neighborhoods. He took his time, got to know me and my family, and made informed suggestions that ultimately landed us in the perfect place (which I honestly hadn't considered prior). ANYWAY, you should probably hire Jonathan, because he's the best. Bonus: After he secures your dream home, he'll also hook you up with all his secret fixer-upper folks who, thusfar, have been just as amazing as Mr. Marks himself. P.S. He is very tall. (Prepare yourself.)

Jonathan was just fantastic during our home purchase experience. We started looking in Marin after having lived in the South Bay for a couple of years, and being only 2 years new to the Bay Area having moved from the East Coast. Navigating the real estate experience in the US is totally new to us and there were many pieces we had to learn. We could immediately tell that Jonathan was an expert in the area. He has such a calm, pleasant demeanor which is a huge positive when doing something as stressful as buying a home! He also read the market very well and his feedback about how to price our offer was spot on. We never felt rushed by him and never like we were just another deal. During the whole process we knew that we were in the hands of a consummate professional who was keeping our best interests in mind (for example, he made sure we went in with all contingencies even though the South Bay had trained us to think that we had to give them up to get a strong offer!). He also connected us with equally wonderful and helpful mortgage and insurance brokers which made the process go smoothly. We highly recommend Jonathan and look forward to seeing more of him after our move to Marin!

Jonathan is absolutely amazing! My friend from work had previously bought a house in Marin with Jonathan and absolutely raved about his experience, recommending him to my husband and I. As first time buyers, Jonathan was wonderful. He helped us understand the process, and was always available to answer all of our questions. He made everything from visiting homes, making a bid, and then closing incredibly smooth. He has continued to support us after buying the house with recommendations for making a few renovations. In the end, I cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough!

If you're buying a house, without hesitation I recommend Jonathan and his team. As complete newbies to the home buying process, Jonathan walked us through every step with patience and not an ounce of condescension. He's a genuine guy who obviously really enjoys what he does. He always made time for us and hustled. Our first bid (not accepted) was put together in about 12 hours when someone else put in a preemptive bid. Jonathan handled it all with grace and competence.He has great relationships with other realtors in the area which makes everything easier. In fact the seller's agent actually told us that he was the difference in us getting the house, the bids were so close the difference was working with someone she trusted.His team is also great. In RE transactions, "there's always a piano" (Google it!), and ours was no exception. When we discovered a gas leak during final walk through, Jonathan and especially his team (thanks Miesha!) stepped in to get it fixed and it only delayed our closing by 3 days. And his support hasn't stopped, even after closing. Jonathan continues to help us out with recommendations on everything from where to shop for furniture to which movers to hire. I should say that doingBusiness with Jonathan was one of the best experiences Ive ever had.He really loves what he does, and does it at the top professional level.His motto is: I will always do my best.And his best is something outstanding.Besides being a strong professional, Jonathan also has a great personality.He is very demanding of himself, accurate, Nice, polite, and witty.Jonathan has a great network, different teams who are also very good.He gave me suggestions that helped us to price and sell the house $25,000 higher than we originally intended.Not mentioning that house got sold within a week after we finished all necessary updates in a record short time.All in all I sold a house,Got a friend, and really enjoy the whole time while dealing with Jonathan.

I love working with Jonathan. He represented us when we bought our home in 2008, and we were thrilled to use him again in 2019 to sell the property. He recommended a great stager, and has many resources available to make a house shine. We had a very fast escrow, and even though there were a few challenges, Jonathan held our hands and we sped through to the close.
