Julie helped us through every step of the home buying experience, which was incredibly helpful since we were first time buyers. She walked us through multiple homes to gauge what we were looking for, and was quick to identify the kind of home we would eventually settle for. Her insights into different aspects of the process were very helpful, and helped us secure a great home. Julie was also a great help in finding us contractors for some touch up work that was required in our home. I would recommend Julie very highly to other buyers or sellers.

Julie is pretty awesome. She really tries to understand what we need and is enormously dedicated to helping us find the right home. We never felt pressured to buy, and I know at times we could be rather challenging to work with, as in the beginning we stubbornly wouldn't offer much above asking, which obviously wouldn't fly in an increasingly extreme seller's market.I also feel that Julie is creative and knows the tools of her trade. When appropriate she would suggest ways to make our offer stronger when we wouldn't budge on price. She's also well-connected and often has good information from selling agents which helps guide our own bids. In fact, Julie is often spot-on predicting the winning bid range. I could go on, but ultimately I'm happy to report that we got a house that fit most of our criteria/priorities without too many compromises. Now that is more amazing than it sounds in today's insane Peninsula market! Thank you, Julie!

We met Julie at an open house. We got talking and quickly realized how familiar and knowledgeable she was about the Peninsula area, also being a mother and raising her kids in Foster City itself, she was able to relate to what we were looking for in buying our first home. Julie Flouty is truly the best! She has nothing but her clients interests in mind. She is knowledgeable, experienced, communicative and works well within the parameters you give her. She is well connected in the area she services, and has some creative tricks up her sleeve for finding off-market properties. She never pushed us into homes nor did she push us away from homes. Instead she asked us how we felt about the home after each visit and let us come to our own decisions. If we were unsure, we asked her for her personal/professional opinion and only then would she influence our decision. In the end, we found a great home in a wonderful area. Even after the deal closed, Julie has remained in close contact, sending updates on the market and calling periodically to check in. I've worked with several agents since moving to CA in 2001 and Julie is the first I would recommend to anyone. She was assertive, responsive, knowledgeable and overall very pleasant to work with.
