Karla Gonzalez

My name is Karla Gonzalez and I am originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. I moved to this wonderful land of opportunity around 22 years ago. I encountered all kinds of challenges as a young teenage girl coming into an entirely different culture that felt like a whole new world to me! I lived in the Midwest for 3 years before traveling to North Carolina and quickly finding myself falling in love with all the beauty this state has to offer, from the mountains to the coast. We decided to move here and I have lived in the Triangle for 18 years ever since. I’ve spent 17 of those years living in Apex, a city where my husband and I have raised all 3 of our kids and that I now consider my hometown.
