  • Kathryn Anne helped me buy a home

      I had the absolute worst experience with kathryn Matheny. I relocated to Memphis for a job and was assigned Kathryn. She seemed to show us her friends homes that were for sale. Instead of showing us the home she chatted it up with them. We eventually found our own home. During the negotiations we had to ask her if she was working for us or the seller because she kept trying to get us to take ridiculous counters. All she could say was that she was trying to help us get the home. We were negotiating on almost a half of million dollar home, totally qualified and ready financially but was not going to pay the full asking price. She seemed to have been trying to get that for the seller. When we finally did come to a deal the sellers wanted to stay in the home for additional days without paying. We said no. So the sellers agent and Kathryn promised to pay us for he days out of their pockets. The sellers agent paid his money, Kathryn hasn't til this day paid. I see her out from time to time and she embarrassingly always brings it up and says she doesn't have her check book with her. The money is not important to me at all. It is the character and principals of the agent that I have a problem with. She made an empty promise to get us to do what she wanted and lied. At the time I did convey my concerns about her to my company and the moving agents I dealt with. From my point of view she didn't show minimal experience in any of the areas stated below. I will never use nor recommend her to anyone. You Asked.
