We were very disappointed that per contract the house was supposed to be broom clean and it was NOT at all. I e-mailed pictures with proof and feel that this should have been taken care of at the realtor's or previous home owners expense. I was promised by Lin that it would be after numerous conversations and nothing was ever done. During the process I asked specific questions were asked in regards to having the house professionally cleaned and I was guaranteed by Linda that it was not necessary to add to the contract because by law it had to be broom clean, which I accepted. During the walk through - i asked about the definition of broom clean and if the appliances (stone, refrigerator, etc...) we included in that and was told absolutely. That stuff was a mess. It was obvious that the floors and carpets were not even vacuumed or swept (the easiest part of the cleaning process). We also closed on the house and the previous owners were still moving out. We had keys to the home for 2 days before they were done moving out and they left a HUGE MESS.
