In 1990, when I started my real estate career, the market in the Washington area was flat. Because the market moved slowly, it was a good time to learn the nuances of the business. Over time, the market accelerated and so did my sales. I became a top-selling agent at Evers & Company and a Top Producer in the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors. With a B.A. in sociology from the University of Massachusetts and an M.S.W. from Boston University, I came to D.C. in 1976 to work at the George Washington University Medical Center in mental health, geriatrics, cancer home care and teaching.
