Mary Cole

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. An avid outdoors person, I traded the Rocky Mountains for Lake Michigan when I attended Lake Forest College and decided to stay. I met and married my husband, Ted, had two children, and in 1985 started selling real estate for GGL in the LB office where I have been for the past 30 years. At age 54, I did my first Ironman triathlon race: 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike followed by a marathon, 26.2 miles. And yes, it’s all in the same day. This year I will participate in Ironman Wisconsin, my eighth Ironman. I ran my first marathon at age 50, and last year I completed my 33rd marathon.
