How do we begin to talk about this wonderful real estate agent? Matt is competent and knowledgeable and never pushy. He was respectful of our time and requirements when showing us Benicia properties for sale and expertly guided us to seal the deal when we found a home we wanted to buy. He and his broker, Kathy York, put together a great team for us -- lender, inspectors, title company, etc. Matt is a calm and skilled negotiator, and he also has a great moral compass, which is something we value -- and you will, too.

Just closed on a condo purchase with Matt Petullo. He is personable, sincere, and relaxed but on top of every transaction to move forward. He even talked to the vice-president of the lender because of issues with the paperwork for the loan. I did not realize that he did this! Before I knew anything about this the lender credited me a few thousand dollars for the trouble! Matt is responsive by all means; phone, text, email! I love his ethusiasm. He was able to get the washing machine and dryer for me and a stereo system! Totally recommend him for his candor!

It was always best foot forward with Matt. Enthusiastic, (humbly) polite, open, punctual and prepared. What my husband and I liked about him was that he was generous in making us feel that his time was our time. With every open house that invited our curiosity, and with every conversation between my husband and I about how we could fill a space with some future version of our family - Matt's guidance was respectful of our confusion, as well as, our excitement. And, because of that, we were very comfortable bringing Matt into our dialogue and dynamic. It made all the difference in the confidence and security that can sometimes be lost in translation when communication between agent and client feels like a forced interaction. Being accessibly interactive does not come lazily to him as he makes a dedicated effort to be great with people. I speak in the present tense there because he continues to take a moment to say hello now and again and that's something. For example, in him, there was this reverent consideration for, what was often, the holding-together-of-time-by-the-seams demeanor that took place in our family of 4. He even offered to carry the car seat with our sleeping son inside because that's how he was - he did not want to overlook the details in this gravity that made up our little family. In our experience with Matt, we found quality service in his character - and with it, we would find a home that was not lacking in deep certainty about what we truly valued. So, here we are, in a home of our very own - not without its challenges in adulting - but we are content and thankful that this is where our adulting now takes place. That all said...my husband and I would HIGHLY recommend Matt Petullo to our closests and more.
