Mike Aronski

I recently had the good fortune to work with Mike Aronski in selling a house in Southern California that I had inherited. My experience made clear that the more difficult a client’s real-estate problems are, the more they need Mike Aronski. The problems in my transaction were substantial, and they kept unfolding as the sale progressed. The property was nearly a century old, and the inspection found many unanticipated problems, from likely termite damage and an inaccessible attic to serious issues with the fireplace. The house had been under reconstruction for many months after a serious fire, and only very late in the process did we discover that the claim for payment by the reconstruction firm had not been fully satisfied. The same firm had done work on the attached garage that was essential to meeting modern code requirements but was not covered by the fire insurance. After many months of neglect, the front yard was a disaster zone. The sale was taking place during the worst of the novel coronavirus crisis in California, when buyers were scarce and the usual process of showing properties legally forbidden. On top of all of this, Mike had to work with me at a distance, since I live on the East Coast. None of these formidable obstacles seemed to trouble Mike Aronski at all. He brought in effective help to trim an enormous tree in the yard, install a sprinkler system, and otherwise put it in appealing condition. He attractively staged the interior and ensured that it was well exhibited on-line. Through these efforts and his web of contacts, Mike found a buyer in Hawaii willing to pay a very good price. Over many weeks, Mike strove successfully to resolve the fire claim (and the resulting cloud on the title); and while I appropriately paid for the garage work, Mike obtained a very fair price. He also arranged a suitable settlement with the buyer covering the inspection issues. Most importantly, he was able through his excellent negotiating skills to “keep the buyer in the boat” while these events and the unexpected delays involved were transpiring. His communications with me were invariably comprehensive, clear, and timely, so that being so far away was no handicap to me at all. As a first-time seller also serving for the first time as executor, I needed particular care from my agent for this sale. Mike exceeded any standard I could have imagined when my attorney, who has long worked with him, brought Mike to my attention. I can unhesitatingly recommend him, and I am sure his future clients will be as fortunate to make his acquaintance as I was.

Mike not only listed and sold our house but also found us our dream home. Our home was on the market for under a week and had 8 offers, ended up in a bidding war in our favor! We sold for way over asking and couldn’t have been happier. Mike was also very helpful in finding our new home. He wrote in terms for the sale of our house so we wouldn’t feel rushed to find something so we could take our time finding the exact house that met our needs. We were over anxious to see houses at times and Mike would even meet us same day going above and beyond. Mike wanted to make sure that we found the perfect t house for us and was in no way interested in just making a sale. And he did just that and we LOVE our new home. I would/ do recommend Mike to anyone and everyone buying and or selling a home!

Michael knows the probate process well. It took more than three months from day we submitted the offer to closing and he was very responsive during the whole process. I recommend Michael to buy or sell as he is very hard working.
