Michelle Postma
- Michelle never responded to my request
Michelle lacks punctuality and regard for sellers' timelines and restrictions (such as having potential buyers out of a property before 9 PM on a weeknight when homeowner has school-aged children). It seems that her potential commission is worth more than compassion and professionalism.
- Michelle and I connected, but did no business
1 star is too high of a rating. While listing and selling a home is rarely a stress-free experience, I never expected to confront a buyer or agent as rude and unprofessional as Michelle. She and her client recently requested a showing from 7:30-8:15. After 14 hours of working, volunteering, and picking up my children from practices, we at last returned home at 9:05, well after the kids' (and on this day, my) bedtime. We were unpleasantly surprised to find Michelle and her client still at the house. Did she apologize or explain what they were still doing there that late? No. She dismissively told us to "we aren't done here yet," like we were infringing upon her time. At that point, I ended the showing and asked them to leave. I could not believe the lack of consideration or politeness Michelle showed me and my family. Little did I know, she was just getting started. In our buyer feedback form, she called me "uneducated and bitter", a completely gratuitous and irrelevant comment. Why did she feel the need to insult me on top of her inconsiderate behavior? Her blunt responses continued with "the seller is uneducated if she believes a showing scheduled from 7:30-8:15 should be done by 8:15". Even when she so rudely showed up late (8:20) to even start the showing. She felt no regret over her rude behavior. Additionally, she commented that her client was taking his time considering "a remodel and furniture placement". With all of the additional time spent at the house, you would think an offer would soon follow. No offer came. The implication was that I in some way contributed to the buyer not making an offer. This kind of blatant lie is what you can expect from a unprofessional "realtor" like Michelle. This experience has left me feeling completely defeated. We want to sell, but not at the expense of dealing with Michelle. She is not entering my home again.
