Renee Atkinson

Prior to moving to North Carolina and becoming a real estate agent, I worked on the development side of real estate, helping to create affordable housing using Section 42 and historic tax credits. My passion has always been helping people establish a home to put down roots, whether that is building something new or breathing life back into an older building and creating beautiful housing with a historic charm. While gaining experience and knowledge as a full-time employee on the development side, I also attended Virginia Commonwealth University to pursue education and, after almost 10 long years of study, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in real estate. I've been helping people into and out of homes since 2002 and have continued to pursue education in order to provide an excellent knowledge base for my clients. I hold a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and an Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR) designation.
