Working with Robert (and his former partner - but Robert did most of the work) to sell my childhood home was really a pleasure. I live on the East Coast so was anticipating having to make multiple trips to Berkeley to get our house sold. I was completely wrong - Robert took care of everything. I did not need to travel at all. Rather he served as a one-stop-shop to handle everything, from working with the tenant to facilitate his move out of the house, to cleaning out and appropriately disposing of the contents, to preparing the house for sale, through to the final transaction. Robert was always available and always helpful. The real test of performance though is not when things go well, but rather when there are problems. We did have one serious problem, which was not of his making. Others might have brushed this aside and let me deal with it as best I could. But not Robert. He really stepped up to the plate and intervened, going far beyond the call of duty, to get the problem resolved. In my view, what really matters is how people respond to problems and Robert passed this test with flying colors. Thanks to Robert's help we made out very well on this transaction. Over the course of the transaction we have become friends and, although I don't have any more property to sell on the West Coast, we continue to remain in contact. I could not recommend him more highly.
