Sarah DeRooy is the owner of Be.Confident. A Grand Rapids, MI native who makes her home along with her husband, dog and cat in the Heritage Hill neighborhood. She loves living an urban lifestyle and is passionate for the incredible city she calls home.
Prior to real estate Sarah made her career in Hospitality. Managing several hotels in Grand Rapids she demonstrated a servant style of leadership to lead her staff. She received her education from Kendall College of Art and Design with an emphasis in interior design, and often used the combination of her education & management style to create unforgettable guest experiences.
Sarah obtained her real estate licence in 2011 at a time when so many were leaving the industry. She saw an opportunity to create a client experience that drew from her years in hospitality, and utilized her love for design.
