Scott Vulgamott
Scott is so thorough and professional. He is honest and takes the time to make sure you understand the entire process. Scott and his wife Kim helped us through every step of the selling process and made sure we got our money's worth. This is the second house we have bought through Scott and I wouldn't choose anyone else with such a big decision.
- WM FilleyScott is a top notch pro. He is honest, has integrity, and loyalty. He made a tough situation manageable and much less stressful. Absolutely no complaints. Would recommend him for any real estate venture. No comparison between Scott and other agents used in the past!
- Jeff WursterMy fianc and I just bought a home and we were so lucky to have been recommended to use Scott Vulgamott. He was available to answer any questions whenever we needed one answered. Scott never made us feel rushed into a decision. We were first time home buyers and he made sure we understood everything involved in the home buying process. Scott is very knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to looking at the homes that are on the market. If you need a realtor that you can trust we recommend Scott Vulgamott 100%!
- Jeni SchneiderAfter having a bad experience with another Realtor, it was a real pleasure working with Scott and his wife Kim. Scott helped us decide what we needed to do to make our home the most appealing in a competitive market. In addition, we were placing our home squarely in Scotts and Kim's hands, as we moved to Connecticut and trusted them with the sale of our home. And sell it they did, along with handling the repairs for us that had to be done prior to closing and all the bumps in the road along the way. Scott and Kim ensured a stressful move and the sale of our longtime family home went off smoothly. We were definitely in good honest hands. We would definitely recommend the professional team of Scott and Kim Vulgamott!
- Kim HodgeIf you are looking for a realtor/person of tremendous character who truly cares for the well-being of others and is devoted to serving and looking out for the well being of their clients, then Scott Vulgamott is the person and needs to be your realtor. My experience with Scott Vulgamott was extraordinary. Scott far exceeded any and all expectations that I had both as an individual and as a realtor. Scott's success in the real estate business comes from his sincere concern of people and his devotion to take care of you and your needs as a client. My house had been leased for 4 years and when the tenants moved out, it was not in good condition to sell. Within 4 days of personally meeting and contracting Scott as my real estate agent, the basement level of my home flooded. Scott came to my home to meet a contractor there to give me a painting estimate and found me in desperate need of getting the carpet and pad out of my basement. Scott was dressed professionally in very nice clothes and shoes, but he recognized the need, enlisted the assistance of the contractor and a razor blade (not a razor knife, a razor blade) and quickly removed the saturated carpet and pad. This was only the 1st of many challenges to present themselves before I could place my home on the market, but, obviously, I was in very good and capable hands. I live in a different state than where the home I was selling is in. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed, lacked the contacts, resources, and time required to dedicate to the repair of my home. With Scott's knowledge and contacts within the industry and his already proven devotion to help others and a client, I entrusted him to oversee all aspects of the repair and selling of my home. If it were not for the absolute dedication and determination of Scott, by home would still not be on the market. However, once my home was listed, it was under contract to sell in less than one week. With Scott's knowledge of the market, guidance, and negotiation skills, my home sold above the original listed selling price and was closed without a hitch within approximately 35 days. I can assure you that the commission Scott received for the selling of my home was far far less than what he earned or deserved. Mr. Vulgamott is a rare, class act. How truly blessed I was/I am for the opportunity to encounter such an individual.
- Becky HarrisScott is all about relationship first with the transaction being an outcome of that relationship when things are done properly. My wife and I interviewed buyer's agents and when we met Scott and his wife Kim we spent several hours getting to know them. Some of that initial conversation focused on what we wanted in a home but we also spent a significant amount of time getting to know one another and were sharing pictures of our kids and pets. We knew that when we left that meeting we were going to work with Scott. They wanted to know us and were more concerned that we were comfortable with them and their process rather than just viewing it as a transaction. Other agents we interviewed were all about the mechanics of the deal and didn't really spend much time at all getting to know us as a couple. Scott was very professional throughout the process of finding our home and was always focused on making sure that we were getting the best deal possible and that our interests were always protected. We found our new home and closed recently. We discovered a minor problem with the property after the closing and Scott is still representing us to get it resolved. Even though he has been paid he is still working to represent our best interests in this deal. Without a doubt this is the best agent I've worked with and this is the eleventh home that I've purchased. Well done, Scott and Kim.
- Trace TandyScott is more than a realtor. He isn't just going to sell you a house. First Scott is going to get to know you.... because for him, selling houses goes beyond making a sale, it's about making sure you find the perfect home that fits your needs. Then Scott is going to make sure you get the best deal, walk you through every step from making an offer, to AFTER the closing. Yes...that's right...AFTER you close.. I closed Aug 15, 2017. But I'm still calling Scott asking him questions. ...from, contacts to get things done around the house, to help changing the garage code,...even advice on caring for the lawn!! ... and just this week...help with the screen door. Scott cares for his clients not just about the sale. I'm a single mom that was looking for the perfect house for my mom to live with me. So, I needed advice every step of the way and that's what Scott did. I felt safe knowing that I was getting the best deal and all my questions answered .....plus Scott walked us through the house and showed us things we didn't even think of asking. That's what makes Scott a one of kind realtor. I highly recommend him. If I ever sell or buy....Scott Vulgamott is the only realtor I would consider.
- Dawn McCloudWe listed our duplex in northern KCMO with Scott. As a remote owner, it would've been difficult to arrange for inspections, appraisals, repairs, etc. but Scott took care of ALL of the work, from working with the current tenants to scheduling inspections and repairs and arranging for their entry to the units. Scott got us a great price with a minimum of hassle. I would happily recommend him to anyone.
- Robert FrenchI recently moved from Colorado to the Kansas City area, and was in need of a realtor to help me with the challenges that come with moving to a new city and state. I had initially been setup with a different realtor until a close friend had referred me to Scott. After my initial phone conversation with Scott, I knew I had to make him my realtor! First impressions over the phone are tough, but after that first call, I knew that he was the right choice. From before I set foot in Kansas City, up until I was moving into my new home, Scott and his wife Kim were there for me every step of the way. Throughout the process, never once did I feel like I was an inconvenience, and he was always able to flex his schedule to meet mine when it came to looking at houses on nights or weekends. After buying a previous house before, I did not expect the home-buying process to be as enjoyable and pleasant as it was, and I attribute that entirely to Scott and his wife Kim. I would happily refer them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the future!
- John CokerMy wife and I called Scott who was the listing agent on a property. We wanted to see it and thought we were just going to "take a look". Once we met Scott and his wife Kim, we were immediately impressed with both of them. The property was everything that we were looking for and more. We made an offer on the spot. Once the offer was in, Scott and Kim went to work. They became a transaction broker for both parties. Normally I would have used another broker but we were so comfortable with Scott and Kim we were excited to move ahead with them. Scott and Kim maintained the utmost professionalism and stayed on top of every document, request, question and timeline that was needed to see to it that the offer and eventual sale took place. Even after the sale, Scott and Kim have been extremely helpful in answering any questions that come up. I truly wish all realtors worked with this level of professionalism and honesty. I can honestly say, I am thrilled that we met Scott and Kim and am excited to work with them again.
