Houses sell themselves. If a potential buyer/renter falls in love with a piece of property, the likelihood of he/she wanting to procure it is roughly 85% and higher which simply makes the agent a go between and guide throughout the process. In my case, this is exactly what occurred, but I never received the "guide". From the very beginning of this process Claudia's communication with me was spotty and lacking, which in retrospect should've been my first warning sign. I relocated from Texas to Virginia for a new job and a chance of military post and didn't expect all of the communication efforts between myself and a real estate agent to be initiated constantly on my part; they were. After a rough few weeks of phone tag to locate Claudia who was constantly out in the field and rarely returned messages during a 48 hour span, there was finally some movement in the already strenuous process of relocation and a lease was drafted up and signed along with a pet addendum. When it came time to pay the first month's rent and security deposit, I was the one who had to continually request to do so. A week of request gave way to a link provided by Claudia, which once opened I realized was a rush job. The rent was a rounded almost as though Claudia didn't have the paperwork in front of her to input the correct numbers. After a phone call this was confirmed to be the case; Claudia was out in the field and working from memory. Two days later this was rectified. All documents were amended and stated the correct information at this point. About a week later I loaded up my car and my cat and began the drive to my new life and new home. 21 hours and only four short gas/food/stretch stops later I found myself arriving in Woodbridge, VA with my Pod that contained my whole life waiting for me in the driveway. There was no heat. The vents were not cleaned, after discussing it with Claudia the next day I learned they hadn't been cleaned in a year, there were dead flies in every room, cobwebs in doorways and cabinets, black scuff marks and dents in the walls, unclean toilets, and a few other discrepancies that had been addressed previously but not attended to. My first few nights in this new city were spent in a motel down the street while I commuted back and forth to clean the house even though Claudia insisted there were cleaners that had spent 5 hours in the house a few weeks earlier before contractors had come to repair...well I'm not entirely sure, because as I mentioned there were still discrepancies throughout the house. Claudia met me at the property the second day after I insisted she do so. The previous night as soon as I arrived I conducted a thorough walk through along with 100+ pictures and sent them to her as well as my relocation assistant before I went to the motel; this emailed walk through is what we went off of as we toured the house together. After about 5 minutes spent with Claudia, I felt unheard. Claudia insisted that the house was move in ready even though there was no heat and she repeatedly spoke over me when I pointed out the damages on the walls made from, presumably, the previous tenant. Even as I voiced my concerns about the damages, she consistently called them “cosmetic concerns” and didn’t understand why I, a new tenant, would request to have them repaired. With all of this said and done, while I still transition and work through these issues in a new state, I absolutely would not recommend her to those looking for a realtor. Poor and callous communication to say the least, empathy unheard of, and self prioritization. There are hundreds of realtors in the area, continue your search elsewhere.

Claudia is an excellent realtor. I was so scared to start the home buying process until my husband and I met Claudia. She provided detailed insight about the process. Today we own 2 homes. Claudia, keep smiling.....you're a super hero.

I did a lot of research before selecting Claudia, and I am glad that I did. We asked her to help sell our home in a not so hot market, and 18 days later we had a contract for $10K over what we asked. She was very patient and worked closely with us throughout the process so that there were not surprises or hiccups. She was easy to work with, has a great personality, and is extraordinarily good at what she does. I would recommend her to anyone selling or buying a home.

Her follow up was impeccable and there was no pressure at all to hire her. She truly wanted to help and be a resource. After her professionalism and solid track record of success, we KNEW there was no other choice than Claudia! Working with Claudia was even better than we hoped. Everything was so smooth and easy. We had an offer within hours of being on the market, had MULTIPLE offers, and signed an offer in days.... over asking, no contingency, no inspection. She even prepared a packet for the appraiser with comps and a comprehensive list of upgrades to justify the price of the over asking offer. Claudia offered excellent advice along the way. She was completely supportive and always available. She always put her personal touch on everything. Even my cat approved! Claudia was with us at closing with an amazing gift basket (including kitty treats)! She has even contacted us after selling the house to check in on our cross country move. She is amazing. Don’t even consider another agent. You’ll LOVE working with Claudia!!!

Claudia is a great realtor. The proof is that we have gone with her two times. She helped us buy our home back in 2014. We were happy with her attention to detail, so when we were ready to move again, we didn't hesitate to go with her again. This time she helped us find our new home, and sell our old one. She made herself available whenever we had a question. She truly makes you feel as if you are her only client, even when she is working with several other people. I am living in a different state and needed a realtor in VA that did a little bit more work as I was not present during listing / selling process. Claudia was my ‘extended arm’ and besides the regular realtor tasks, she helped me to find contractors for final cleaning / carpet repairs and other repairs that needed to be done prior to the sell. She coordinated all that for me and stayed on top of all that needed to be done to get the condo ready for the sell.
