Cory Maguire

Born and raised in Honolulu, Cory Maguire absorbed aloha ‘aina (literally, “love for the land”), a cultural tradition of personal connection to place. While she still feels deeply connected to her island roots, Cory left Hawaii at the age of 19 to see other lands. Moving initially to San Francisco, she spent the next five years working on cruise ships, travelling much of the world.
