David Vanderlaan is a native Texan born in Amarillo, Texas. He moved to Denton in 1971 and completed his Bachelor & Master degrees at North Texas State University now known as University of North Texas. David began his Real Estate career in 1978. He has held his license in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas. David has served on numerous local and state boards and now currently serves as a member of the UNT Athletic Advisory Board, Director of Access 1st Capital Bank of Denton, past President of Denton County Country Club and Trustee of the 1st United Methodist Church in Denton.
