Summer is a great time in Ukiah, warm to hot days, and cool nights. It’s always nice because we have low humidity and therefore dry heat. The days are often in the mid 90’s, but the night time temperatures are typically in the high 40’s to low 50’s. It’s great to be able to open the house in the evening and close it up in the morning. Summer evenings are particularly enjoyable for barbecuing or outside activities. This summer the real estate market has picked up pace considerably. Our listing inventory is lower than it has been in the past few months, and properties are selling at a fairly brisk pace. As always, the more expensive properties, $600,000 and above, take longer to sell. Interest rates remain historically low, so it is a great time to buy, and it is also a very good time to sell.
