James has been a resident of Aspen, Colorado since 1993. He moved to Aspen to live his dream of skiing in the Rocky Mountains. He realized quickly after arriving that he had discovered paradise, and he wanted to help others find their own slice of heaven. In 2000, James founded the Roaring Fork Mortgage group. His extensive experience with Aspen properties made him a leader in the luxury real estate mortgage industry, receiving numerous awards for outstanding performance. For the next eight years, James mastered Aspen Real Estate finance and developed the company into an industry leader in the Roaring Fork Valley. During this time, James realized that Aspen real estate itself was his passion, so he closed up his mortgage practice and turned to selling real estate with Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's International Realty.
