My dream home had almost slipped away, but thanks to Jeff's knowledge, skill and expertise, I am closing escrow on the house this week. He also saved me money, both on the house and the closing costs. In my mind he is a miracle worker. Jeff came highly recommended to me by my brother who had bought his home through Jeff, and now I know why. I cannot say enough. Only downside, I will miss our house-hunting forays together. Jeff was very professional throughout our entire home buying experience. He always had the newest listings and was available to show them to my wife and I right when they came onto the market. [ link omitted ] (we like email- so this was right up our alley). Most impressive was his attention to detail and negotiation skills. In our contract, he asked for a roof warranty, which we didn't even notice (nor do I believe the sellers noticed) until the rainy season started- and which we were very thankful for! Also, he negotiated a substantial credit for the newly-installed electric range that did not work. Given that we were working with a bank who owned an 'as-is' foreclosure and a very rude selling Realtor, this was really incredible! Jeff was also very patient and NEVER PUSHY- he submitted 4 bids for us all on foreclosures, over an eight month period, and showed us dozens of houses. He was always honest, and even told us when he thought a particular fixer-upper (the type of house we wanted) was more than we could handle. He also has great recommendations for who to work with on financing (on his recommendation, we got our mortgage through someone he knew at the bank which owned the foreclosure we bought- I think this smoothed the process and was a great recommendation by Jeff). Overall, Jeff was stellar.
