- Jon helped me buy a home
Since Mr. Querolo sought me out, as an old acquaintance, I assumed that he was ating solrly as a buyer's agent. But the appraisal came back at a price substantially lower than the seller's asking price. When I suggested that we speak to the owner with a counter offer, he stated that he'd already done so, and the seller would not reduce the priceI retrospect, I believe that I should have required that that a counter offer, in writing be presented to the seller. I'll fault my self for not being more assertive and astute in dealing with this transaction. That said, I would never do business with Mr. Querolo again.
