If you are looking to buy or sell your home, I highly recommend Kendra to assist you along the way. We first met Kendra during one of her open houses. We, as a family, enjoy viewing open houses as a way to see the available possibilities. At that time, we have not done any preliminary paperwork for a loan pre-approval so we did not know what our price range might be or if we will even be approved for a home loan. Kendra provided us with a contact information for a loan broker.After contacting the broker, we were pre-approved for a home loan so the search for our home began. We looked at a few properties until we found the home that we purchased. Kendra was very accommodating and extremely helpful with everything. She responded to phone calls, emails, and texts immediately. She was a great communicator of anything that was coming up and any paperwork that needed to be completed.Now, in order for the home buying/selling experience to be a pleasant/easy going (I know that seems to be contradictory), you as a client also have to do your part. She can only guide you and remind you to complete paperwork but you have to complete all necessary documents as they come along (that means no procrastinating). The harder the work that you do in the beginning with submitting/completing documents, the easier the flow will be in the end.We love working with Kendra. Strongly recommend Kendra Bates if you are buying or selling a house in San Diego. My husband and I were 3,000 miles away when we began our house hunt. Kendra educated us on all of the potential areas and narrowed down hundreds of listings (that met our base requirements) into a manageable number based on her knowledge of the area. When we finally made it out to San Diego to see the potential listings in person we were completely wowed and impressed with Kendra's ability to walk through a house, without having seen it in advance, and identify all of the pros and cons, and areas that would need to be addressed. Further, she deftly managed a very difficult offer, negotiation, and escrow process on our dream home. I cannot recommend her enough! I was so lucky to have found and to elect Kendra as my real state agent. She was 100% responsive and extremely knowledgeable about the whole home purchase process. Making the long story short, Kendra basically "hold my wife and I by the hands" and taught us all basics and pitfalls of the home purchase.
