We were looking for our retirement home in Cambria, CA and went looking around by ourselves at first to see what location we wanted to live in. We stopped by an open house and Kim was the agent. Instantly we connected and we knew we wanted her to represent us. We live in the Bay Area and we would occasionally go to see homes in Cambria. Kim was always available for us to show homes and was so welcoming and always had a warm smile. When we found our dream home she was wonderful through the process. We ended up being a victim of wire fraud during this transaction and Kim was so helpful during our ordeal. I don't know if we would have made it through this without her. We met Kim Maston in the summer of 2018 while looking for a home to buy in Cambria, CA. From the moment we met Kim, she proved to be everything that one would want in a real estate agent; knowledgeable, candid, tireless, honest, and quick to adapt to our tastes, wishes, and budget. What else could we ask for? In fact, Kim not only helped us buy a home in Cambria, she was there for us AFTER the purchase. Since we live in Palm Desert, CA, fully 350 miles away from Cambria, we were not able to easily handle many of the post-purchase issues...but Kim did; homeowner's insurance, spare keys, local legal issues, and the preservation of our peace-of-mind. In a word, Kim was "terrific"...and we'd use her again in a minute.

Although I have never met Kim in person, I feel I know her and consider her a friend thru the many e-mails and phone conversations we had when I found it necessary to sell my vacation beach home as a "short sale". As many may know, this type of transaction can be very tedious and time consuming, dealing with both buyers, sellers and the bank. In addition, I did not live in the area so it was necessary to communicate via e-mail and phone. Within a short time, Kim found a buyer, negotiated an acceptable price for the bank's needs and handled all aspects with diplomacy, sensitivity and expediency. Going above and beyond, she helped dispose of all the furnishings by finding a liquidator and actually worked with him to sell the house contents and even offered to store any belongings I wanted until it was convenient to make the trip to retrieve. Kim went above and beyond anything I have ever seen a realtor do. As transplants from Utah we came to California fully expecting to have to stay in a hotel until we found a place. Kim found us a vacation rental and saved us thousands of dollars. Also, when we came out here early on a home finding trip she spent her time showing us places in the area knowing full well that we were just getting a feel for what was available and that we would not be ready to buy for several months. I would like to inform you of the great job your Broker / Associate Kim Maston did while working with me to purchase of a house. This was a foreclosure sale with Wells Fargo Bank. Throughout the entire time, this sale was continually delayed by Wells Fargo and its escrow company. Their backlog of foreclosures was so large that Wells and the escrow company had slowed progress almost to a stop. The listing agent was of little help moving the sale along. This escrow was to close in 30 days. If not for the constant efforts of Kim to keep this sale going and eliminate the many obstacles which delayed this sale more than 20 days, I believe this sale might have taken months or fallen through. Kims skill and professionalism in resolving many of the issues was the only thing which kept the sale going. Kims constant efforts did finally resolve all the issues and the sale finalized.
