Michael is truly a rock star Realtor. It's hard to believe that only a few short months ago we didn't even know him, and now we can't imagine working with anyone else. I remember him telling me during our very first phone conversation, "Who knows? This might happen sooner than any of us think." I laughed a little on the inside at the time. You have to understand: my wife and I are both pretty picky about what we like. To complicate things even further, my wife was traveling for work frequently during this period of time. Yet despite all of the apparent obstacles, Mike zeroed in on the things that were important to us and we fell in love with the 3rd home we saw. We couldn't for the life of us figure out why it was still on the market, but it wasn't until we asked that Mike informed us that because the property was for sale by owner, many buyer's agents wouldn't show it to their clients since the commission was so much lower. The fact that Mike didn't hesitate to bring us, and didn't even mention the commission until we asked, spoke volumes.After we put in our offer, Mike continued to go above and beyond in absolutely every respect. He organized a multitude of tradespeople to come during a single visit and provide us estimates on updates we wished to make. When our busy schedules made going down to pick up carpet samples a challenge, he immediately offered to do it for us. During one of our walk throughs, I inadvertently left my purse on the dining table. When I called Mike to let him know, he went and retrieved it and dropped it off to me. Every single time an issue popped up with the seller, lender, or escrow company, Mike was there to come up with a solution.I also want to note that as a same-gender couple, the question of how we will be treated by people is often at the forefront of our minds. Mike showed cultural awareness regarding the LGBT community, and made us feel totally comfortable, respected, and supported.In short, Mike helped us find our dream home, and attended to each detail - big and small - in a way that made the process as painless as it could possibly be. He was there for the ups and downs, was lightning fast in his responsiveness to all forms of communication, and handled every roadblock with humor and professionalism. We truly couldn't have done it without him!

Mike is honestly one of the most reliable and efficient people that I have ever had a chance to work with! My fianc and I are first time homeowners. The process of finding the right home, making an offer, and then having to go through all the paperwork for it seemed overwhelming, but Mike really does an amazing job making it so much easier for his clients. Mike found homes that fit our criteria and rolled with any of the changes that we made. He always showed up on time for every house we went to see and constantly stayed in contact with us as well as made himself available to us. Mike found houses that fit right into what I was looking for and rolled with my changes! He knows the VA loan inside and out and was really great about breaking things down and explaining them to me. Michael was hands down the best agent we have ever worked with! He asked intelligent questions, listened very carefully and never pressured us. He only sent us properties to view that fit our criteria.We had mentioned to him that we loved renovating if we found a property with the right bones and would fit into our total budget. Michael found us a great property a block from the beach that was thousands less than our top budget including the renovation costs.He went way beyond the duties of a selling agent, giving us contractors and showing up at the property many times with us so we could get quotes before we closed escrow.We love Michael and have already referred a couple of friends to him. I had no clue what I was doing when me and my husband decided we wanted to be homeowners. Michael was referred to me by one of my coworkers and we decided to give him a shot. (Mind you, at the time we were in Hawaii looking to buy a home in San Diego.) Michael right off the bat had such a great energy and confidence in us finding our home from thousands of miles away. We told him our budget, wants/needs and he gave us a link to his website where he created a custom search for us to look through to help narrow down our search.3 months later...Finally I flew into San Diego. And we immediately hit the ground running. I was still working so Michael would pick me up at around 4 and we hit up about 5 houses a day. Then we would hit up a lot more on the weekend. I'm not gonna lie after a week of looking at houses, you get discouraged. But Michael was still insanely positive and kept me going.We finally found our house, and it is perfect! We needed to move in fast and he worked with our bank to close w/in 21 days! Never once did Michael pressure me into anything I didn't want. We would text and call him late at night, usually bc we were worried or freaking out about something (adulting does that to you sometimes) and he always put us at ease. If I ever felt like I was on the fence, he would give me his honest opinion. Which I think is a great thing, he puts his customers first for sure. Buying a house is a HUGE, scary decision for anyone to make. I mean how often are any of us dropping hundreds of thousands of dollars a day? I don't know how we would have got through it without Michaels positivity, knowledge, work ethic, and his hat, you can't forget the hat!

I can not praise Mike Minotti enough! He made buying a home fun, simple and quick! He stayed in constant contact with me and my husband and answered every question. He understood our needs as first time buyers and really looked out for what was best for us. If a home was questionable or over priced, he made sure to tell us and protect us. He is military friendly and helped us with our VA loan process as well. He made himself available to our crazy schedule, even showing us houses on Saturdays in the rain. 3 of 4 people that I work with have all used Mike as their realtor and we are all beyond satisfied. Total time from beginning to end (search and close) was probably a month. He's the nicest guy and I can't thank him for helping me and my husband enough. 5 stars truly just don't cut it, he deserves so many more.

We used Mike to (very reluctantly) sell our beloved first home and are so happy we trusted Mike with the job. The process was smoother than we had ever experienced with other agents. We just bought a house out of the area prior to selling our SD home, and being able to compare two agents just made it obvious how Mike goes above and beyond. He is so responsive and gave us updates even when he probably didn't have to. His advice was spot on and he worked with us to prepare the home, make a plan, and decide on asking price well before it his the market. This month I became an official home owner thanks to Mike! It took us about a year to find exactly what we were looking for, but we weren't in a big hurry. Mike was very patient with us, & we even had some good adventures checking out some of the properties in our local rural areas of San Diego. Oh boy! But after all the driving around, we found the perfect home for our future retirement & all our toys! I highly recommend Mike as a realtor, I promise you won't be disappointed.

We relocated from San Francisco to San Diego. We've bought and sold many homes in our lifetime, all in the same general vicinity. Moving from No. Cal to So. Cal was a scary proposition. We knew nothing about the neighborhoods in San Diego. We worked with Michael for 6 months as he educated us about different neighborhoods, its vibe, traffic patterns, weather, crime, everything. He's smart, funny, direct when needed, and so knowledgeable about the different neighborhoods and real estate trends. We are both mortgage brokers and have worked hand-in-hand with Realtors for over 20 years. We got very lucky with Michael. He is everything we could have hoped for and more! Mike was simply great. Being a first time home buyer, I was apprehensive to pull the trigger and begin physically looking at places VS just browsing on an app or online site. When I was introduced to Mike through mutual friends, I was pleased with his ability to be professional but more importantly, personable. Having been a former sales manager, I understand and appreciate a sales person who would rather show you an item that meets your wants and needs instead of selling you an item simply to make a profit. At no point during this process did I feel "sold" on anything. I know everyone knows a realtor or has someone who knows one, or who says they had the best realtor but hands down Mike is up there with the best. All the nervousness and questions "like am I really doing this?", "can I afford this?" I had none of that because he walked me through every step. Explained everything through personal meetings on and off the clock. Answered any questions I had within about an hr by voicemail and email to make sure I got the message. Like all the other reviews his energy, excitement that he gives off is contagious! Made my first home buying experience in Eastlake easy and unforgettable. CALL THIS GUY!!

Mike took one of the most stressful events most people will purposely subject themselves to and he made it enjoyable. The only thing he didn't do was fork over the cash ;) He was always two steps ahead of me and made sure I was ready for what was coming next. He was flexible with our scheduling needs as we were from out of town and he kept in constant contact with us with updates and explaining next steps. Our situation was complicated as our perfect home was still in lease to tenants and we also had specialized mortgage needs, but Michael made it all happen for us and the process was definitely smoother than we expected.
