Mirela and her family moved to Cedar Rapids in 1999, and it did not take long for them to call this area home. Mirela was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania. Mirela is a Geophysicist by degree, and she practiced her profession within the oil industry prior to moving to Iowa. She has lived and worked in various places and has traveled extensively. It is with this worldly experience that she can confidently call the Cedar Rapids area a great place to work and live.
Her work was her passion, and she thought that she would never do anything different, but after engaging herself in this pleasant region of the Midwest, she realized that the quality of life offered by a strong, vibrant and growing Corridor makes this place ideal for her and her family.
