Nilton Lisboa

Nilton Lisboa was the listing agent for a Fannie Mae HomePath Renovation property that I submitted an offer on. My agent sent my offer to Mr. Lisboa, who told my agent that he was submitting my offer. The property eventually sold for less than what my offer was. When I contacted Owen REO, LLC, the company handling the sale for Fannie Mae, they told me they never received my offer. I talked to Mr. Lisboa and he pretty much played dumb, apologizing but saying he receives a lot of offers, couldn't remember what happened specifically, could have been a data entry problem by his staff. Mr. Lisboa is either an extremely careless, negligent business owner or, more likely, an unscrupulous agent who steered the property towards a certain investor by purposely not submitting mine. I would be very careful when dealing with Mr. Lisboa.
