Growing up in Fremont, I learned early on the importance of hard work and dedication. Both of my parents worked full-time jobs while owning and operating two pre-school and daycare centers in Fremont. I vividly recall working every weekend at my parent’s business doing miscellaneous jobs like mowing the lawn, sweeping the school grounds, and grocery shopping for school meals and snacks. After receiving my B.S. degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and my MBA from Pepperdine University, I spent the next twenty years working at several Silicon Valley companies including PeopleSoft, Ariba, Symantec and Saba Software in corporate finance and marketing management roles gaining invaluable experience in financial analysis, strategic pricing, and product marketing.
