I want to thank HomeLight for connecting me to a top notch A+ real estate agent Ashu from Vashist Group. I interviewed two agents - Phillip Johnson from 1245 team and Ashu from Vashist Group. Ashu was amazing from day one. He was very responsive to emails, text and phone calls. Communication was critical for me. I live in south carolina and my rental condo was in penderbrook fairfax, va. He worked hard for me in every aspect, from inspecting the house, working with contractors, penderbrook association and property management company. The tenant was interested in buying the condo and he worked with the buyers agent in price negotiation and also gave me a credit. Sold the condo in a few weeks and I didn't have to go for closing !!! A true hardworking professional, who went really above and beyond what most agents do for their clients. If you are an out of State client, I would definitely recommend Ashu from Vashist Group.

As first time home buyer Rajeev helped and guided us right through the process. He advised us as if he would be buying. I just completed the sale of my existing home and the purchase of a new home with Rajeev. I recommend Rajeev 100%. He's the best agent you can find and a pleasure to work with. He's honest, humble, and he genuinely cares about his clients. He will stay on top things and is patient with every client when it comes to answering questions and getting things done for them. He will be there for you every step of the way. His knowledge of homes and the local market are impressive. He will explain things to like why a sewage pipe in the basement is somehow above ground but normal for this situation. He will explain the pros and cons of every situation. He's also realistic, if you think your home is worth $440K with no updates to it, even though similar homes sold for the same price WITH the updates, he will tell you you're not being realistic. He will do the market research and find the correct price to sell your home for, not tell you the price you want to hear. In the end, I'm confident he got the best price for the home I sold. He has a pulse on the local market and will know when inventory is low or what neighborhood is pricing correctly or not. Quite frankly, there isn't a better agent out there. Additionally, his wife, Babita Vashist is also a broker and you can work with her to find a great deal on a mortgage depending on your qualifications. The duo makes for a great team and the buying/selling process becomes a breeze. You'll be in good hands. Don't think, just go with him.

If I could give more than five stars, I would, because Rajeev is truly a phenomenal real estate agent. In our case, Rajeev was a key reason we were able to sell our home and also purchase a condo and find renters in matter of days. He made the whole process look so easy and seamless. In addition, Rajeev is honest, real and detail oriented. He would steer us away from properties he didn't think were up to snuff and would point out flaws we didn't even see. All in all, Rajeev has a lot of integrity, and was always responsive and diligent. With great ideas, creative approaches, use of professionals in marketing and constant communication made for great real estate experience. I have recommended Rajeev to family and friends and everyone seems to agree with my sentiment.

Excellence is what comes to mind when I think of Rajeev. I have hired Rajeev a few times now - to help buy a townhouse in Northern VA in 2004, rent it out three times due to couple of moves and then finally help sell our townhouse.
