Sonia Vu

I hired Sonia after watching her sell a house a few doors down from my house. I loved the fact that at our first meeting, we discussed my goals and what I expected from the sale of my home. She has been very attentive, supportive and has kept me informed during the entire process. I have been very impressed with her negotiating skills and "can do" attitude when dealing with issues from the buyers agent. There is no one better to have as a partner when selling your home.

Sonia literally changed our lives. We had such an unexpected and great experience with her support and guidance and are still surprised at how fast, efficient and pleasant the whole experience was. This is our first home and we were very intimidated and crossed paths with Sonia at an Open House when we were trying to do it on our own and we approached by many Realtors looking to help us. She really stood out in her advice and approach that put us at ease and feel comfortable to work with her.At each step she took a lot of care and time to make sure she understood what our needs were and how to find the best and help educate us on the pros and cons of each house and not let us feel desperate or overpay. It extended to her support and relationships with lenders and other realtors and was a whole team of trustworthy and effective resources. She continued to offer support and care past the sale and will absolutely keep in touch and go to her for advice work if ever needed in the future.

Sonia is very experienced in the real estate business and you get to see that once you meet. Before purchasing the property and before meeting Sonia, we tried working with few other realtors and we did not find ourselves comfortable. Sonia is very organized, punctual but very time flexible (we really needed time flexibility due to baby with us) and not pushy for anything. These skill sets really worked in our favor. She helped us to make sure that our budget for this purchase is correct. In this process, Sonia worked with us even around midnight time and even around 5 AM while writing the offers. She is very upfront to state good and bad things about the property. Her estimates about repair are also quite close to the real numbers. The listings that she sent and what we were looking for had a good overlap throughout the process. Most important thing that ads value is she made sure we are not overpaying for the property to win the bid. Overall, I highly recommend Sonia since she was very professional with us

I've never written a review for the buyers agent before. This is going to be an odd review but I think it's an interesting one. I sold my house to Sonia's clients in the San Jose Foothills and because I basically sold the house "for sale by owner" I needed someone to lean on. Sonia was so caring and understanding. She didn't make a single percent off me (the sellers) yet she was so helpful and courteous throughout the process. If I were to chose a real estate agent in San Jose to represent me again, without a doubt I would choose Sonia Vu. She is so on top of her game. She admitted to me that she stays awake at night thinking about how she can better help her client. I promise you...Sonia will fight for you. She's amazing!

Sonia has recently helped our family purchase our first home. The whole process wasn't easy, especially our needs and budget did not align. However, Sonia took us to any houses that we were interested in, sat down with us to talk after each house tour, spent at least 3 hours to walk us through the reports of each house that we were interested in. But even before we went to meet her, she already read through the reports and gave us a summary. She also talked to us countless number of times on the offer price, and she actually pulled a report of similar homes got sold recently to help guide us on how much we should offer. She took her time to explain to us the contract and contingencies, and she advised us on what to go easy on and what we should negotiate for. What made us appreciate most was it was not just business to her. We still maintain contact today. She came to visit us, shared with us any services we might need, be it furniture stores, gardener, housekeeper, etc. One interesting thing about our process was Sonia actually helped move the process along while the seller's agent was too hands-off. Had it not been for her, we would not be able to get the house, let alone staying on schedule. The seller actually shared with me that he was so moved by her help and decided to write her a review as well

We recently bought our house with Sonia vu. She is a wonderful agent! We had another agent before finding Sonia and made offer for a property with him. We were super lucky that did not get that house! After that one of our friends referred us to Sonia. She is very professional and organized. You do not need to worry about anything. She is thinking about every thing before you and makes everything ready for you.Having tour with her was awesome because she mentioned something in the house that we did not pay attention. She never pushed us to put offer.I highly recommend her
