Steve went above and beyond as our buying agent. He was relentless in finding our home in an extremely challenging market with little inventory within our budget. Not only did Steve find our home, he was instrumental throughout the entire process. Steve ensured each step along the way was perfectly executed to accommodate a tight (almost unrealistic) timeline for closing and made sure we did not have to do a double-move due to our lease expiration date. Steve is by far the best realtor I have worked with. His communication and attention to detail is unmatched. Steven Cooper was absolutely fantastic to work with as a real estate agent when I purchased my home in La Jolla Alta, which is the area on Mount Soledad and also part of Pacific Beach. Steve was cool, calm and collected. He never tried to pressure me to buy anything, through various starts and stops. He also did not try to upsell me, or aim for the top end of my range. In fact, I ended up buying something at the lower end of my target range with his encouragement. Throughout the entire process, Steven and the team he brought in to help me were absolutely fantastic. Because I was purchasing the house from an out-of-town base, he also helped by going to check out houses when I wasnt around to see if they were worth looking at. Once I found the right home, he handled the inspections and ensured that ALL the details were taken care of. At one point, I had some difficulties getting the loan approved by close date. Steven was able to keep the sellers of the house satisfied that everything was indeed moving forward. Steve also was very helpful working with the lenders, and recommended a great broker. Steven also ensured that the house was inspected in every detail. He arranged for a geological engineer to come out and look at the foundation of the house, because that part of La Jolla I can rest assured that every detail of the house has been carefully checked for security and safety before I bought it. Upon arrival in my new home, Steven made it easier to connect with the original owner about the transition of utility bills; he got me the contact details of flooring specialists, painters and the Gardner the previous owner had used; and he even met with a designer to show her around my newly purchased home before I moved in! He went well above and beyond, and was incredibly generous with his time, even after the home purchase was complete and his work was officially done. Steven is wonderful to work with. He truly understands people and wants to get you in the right house. I felt so comfortable working with Steven. I would work with him again in a heartbeat, and cannot recommend anyone more highly.
