- Susanne H. showed me homes
I looked at a listing of Susanne’s with a woman who did not match the photo identified on her website. I don’t know who showed me the condo, it wasn’t the brunette in the photo but she introduced herself as Susanne. I learned the seller was under contract on the house they were moving to, but planned a renovation to it. I have 2 other houses I could have stayed in in the meantime & offered I’d be glad to pay cash & close on the house immediately, & allow the sellers to remain there as long as their renovation took for free, with them only paying utilities. Whomever the REAL Susanne is, didn’t respond to emails I sent last weekend to see the condo, didn’t respond to phone calls or texts. I did finally hear from her well past my messages. Realtors jobs truly are almost 24/7 if they’re experienced & passionate about helping their clients. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered anyone less responsive. I buy & sell usually 4 houses a year, houses I live in. I said I was a cash buyer & could close as soon as an attorney was available within days or a week. That would give the sellers cash towards their purchase & renovation in advance of their close. I told her at the condo & left a voicemail this morning. At the house I had asked her to call me yesterday after our showing asap, she didn’t. I called her again this morning to reiterate my desire to submit an offer w the added bonus of being able to stay in their sold home while they renovated their new home. I showed her proof of funds on site. She is obligated to submit an offer if a client says they want to. She seemed confused about the bonus offer & didn’t call me as asked. At almost 6 pm today, after me telling her 2 X I want to make an offer, she texts to say the seller got an offer & accepted it. She avoided my desire to make an attractive cash offer + free months of the sellers staying there. She ignored calls, emails, texts & most importantly & real estate law, that she was required to submit my offer & ignored me. I don’t know who the brunette is in the photo. I don’t know who the lady who met me at the condo was. Susanne McIntire is listed as her name, the list agent & the lady at the house said she was Susanne, but they aren’t the same person. I’m more disturbed she didn’t follow legal protocol than I am about the property but I was prepared to pay cash for the house & enjoyed meeting a neighbor & learning about other neighbors in lieu of moving there. Considering she has no other reviews, I don’t know if she’s new to real estate but I do know, she’s not responsive for days, & she failed to send me comps & info I requested at the showing, & failed to make an offer I said twice I wanted to make. If you want someone you can trust to represent you fairly & according to real estate ethics & legally, this is not someone you want to work with. The sellers potentially missed out on a higher offer & being able to stay there as they renovated their new home, saving them moving & storage costs & stress. Find another agent who knows the law, the ethics & cares that you’re trying to buy a forever home. Unfortunate to have chosen her to show me the listing. If I could give 0s, I would, other than meeting me there, she made no effort to help me buy the home.
