April Adams

April is a Colorado native, born and raised in Colorado Springs where she attended PPI Health Institute and received a degree in medical assisting. April also received 4 certificates of outstanding academic achievement and graduated top of her class. April worked for over 6 years with El Paso County Department of Health and Human Services as a Case Aide Specialist where she dedicated her time to working with at risk youth in her community. She developed and supervised a volunteer horse program for adolescent girls with Turkey Creek Ranch located at Fort Carson Military Base. After leaving Colorado Springs to join the laid back community of Salida, April worked with Chaffee County Department of Health and Human Services for another 6 years serving Salida’s elderly population.
