Elena Thompson

Poor ability to communicate. Used bullying and aggressive tactics. We felt that she just wanted to close the deal quickly and bullied and catostrophized rather than calmly negotiate. She is extremely difficult to deal with and we never felt that she negotiated on our behalf. Her staging was awful and contrived and she carelessly shoved belongings she didn't want in the home in the garage without concern or with no way to access them. One of the repair people she interacted with said she was a disaster to deal with and we had to deal with him directly from that point on. She made my 89 year old mother cry on multiple occasions and despite her and our request that she communicate with my brother due to her aggressive communication with my mother she continued to call my mother directly. Would never use or recommend her.

While Elena is very familiar with the area, she is woefully incompetent when it comes to structuring real estate transactions to the point of legal liability. She is so focused on her commission that she fails to understand the relationship of lenders and position, leaving me the seller with a $100k liability after the sale. She is a bully and very unpleasant to work with and buyer’s agents are loath to work with her. Do yourself a favor and find an agent with more integrity, skill and interpersonal skills.
