  • Glenda listed, but didn't sell, my home

If I could give her zero stars I would. 20 years ago, we hired her to list our home. We had a buyer who put down earnest money. The buyer was an absolute flake. When he put down earnest money, that’s when he really started acting strange. We showed up to closing. The buyer did not. When we requested our earnest money she said “Oh no, the earnest money doesn’t go to you the seller. The earnest money goes to the brokerage. We keep that.“ We never saw the earnest money. I was absolutely livid! I also believe she lied to us about certain things that were being fixed in the home. We had already moved to Texas so we couldn’t easily verify (the days before people took pictures with their phones), and she had claimed that there was some water damage and flooring needed to be replaced and she hired somebody to fix it, never sent us pictures or proof. Just took our money and allegedly “paid the guy“. This was in 2005 and I’m still not over it. Buyer beware.
