Who you hire to sell your house matters. PRIOR to a phone call from Jay, my house sat on the market with another realtor for a year. The house was not marketed or priced appropriately during that time. There was a $1000 worth of damage to a pump while it was being shown and no one took responsibility. I would return after a showing with the toilet full and not flushed. I finally took it off the market because I could not take any more. My house was on the market for over three months last year with absolutely no interest. I wholly blame my previous realtor. Jay gave me a call the month we took down the listing inquiring what happened and if we would give him a shot. I told him we would think about it and to send me info, since we have renters and it was a huge hassle to try to sell with them in the home. Two months later, our renters decided to put their notice to vacate in, so I dug up Jays email and gave him a call.
