After four mortgage lenders and one iffy real estate agent, we had all but given up on relocating back to San Diego. Then we found John Costigan and SD Real Estate Connection. He helped us find a lender who could obtain a V.A. loan for us (which everyone else had said we would not qualify for), and showed us a dozen houses in the first week. He was in constant touch with us by email and phone. All we got from our prior agent was computer-generated searches. After a couple of weeks, we found a house in El Cajon that had it all: a view, lots of space, 80 acres behind it, and a bigger pool than even the one we built in Austin. It was a rough escrow, but John helped tremendously at various points to keep the deal going when the seller was frustrated with V.A. and lender delays. Plainly, this deal would not have happened if not for John's professionalism, industry contacts, and persistence. We recommend him without reservation to anyone selling or looking for a home. You will be as happy as we are right now.

I have no experience with buying or selling. This is about the other side and John Costigan. I gave 5 stars because he is great when someone is at their worst. The family home (since 1958) was lost. I was not in the position to buy or sell prior to losing it. I can't begin to say how much John has helped me at this extremely traumatic time nor can I thank him enough for his assistance and guidance practically 24/7. The only thing I could think of is to let others know of his professional and compassionate business ethics. If you are buying or selling (my situation is not recommended!), trust that you will get the absolute best from John Costigan.

John Costigan helped my client tremendously. He worked late hours, met the client at his work so he did not have to miss work or commute during traffic hours, and he helped the client find an attorney when he thought he was in danger of losing his property in foreclosure. He always answers his cell phone and/or returns the call the same business day.
