You are getting more than just a great RE pro, you are getting a great human being to work with. We recently closed a very complex and time consuming double-ended transaction (reverse 1031 exchange) with more twists and turns than an action thriller and with more than $2M in property bought/sold. The amount of roadblocks involved could fill a novel. We would have been lost without Max and the resources he has available to get through all the hoops and hurdles (RE attorney, multiple exchange companies, hard money lenders, loan officers, title people, etc.). To say Max invested easily hundreds of hours into our transaction would be an understatement. Customer service and "being there" for you is his hallmark. Max helped successfully negotiate the buy-side for $100k under ask despite multiple other offers in play. We presented multiple counter-offers and creative scenarios to win over the seller, and in the end we got the home we wanted at a great price. We are now in our forever home and could not be happier! Max was able to get our sell-side home multiple buyer offers within a weekend, and into escrow in 8 days, within the target price we wanted, while many $1M+ prop's in our neighborhood are still sitting after 90, 120, 180 days taking price drops. Knowing your market, proper staging, proper pricing, accurate marketing and advertising, are all things that sound simple yet they are not. Max is a pro at the entire process top to bottom. There is a reason that Max Folkers -IS- bay park real estate (55+ transactions last year), and it's because he -IS- the MAN. You can take the risk and hire someone else. Or you can go for the WIN and hire the BEST. No matter where you live in San Diego county, Max has to be at the top of your candidate list to buy or sell a home. Give him a call or drop by his cute office in Bay Park and get a coffee (Bay Park coffee) or a beer (Benchmark, Poseidon) from one of his neighbors and meet him yourself in person. My family cannot recommend anyone or anything with higher regard than we do Max Folkers and his team. Hannah is amazing too! :) ** For the record we did not "know" Max before this. We knew of him from the neighborhood, from his nice shiny monthly listing mailers and his neighborhood office, and had oddly ran into him at Costco a few weeks before deciding to make a run on a new home. He was our first and only call once we decided to interview realtors to list our house and make an offer on the house we liked. We never did call or interview another realtor after Max was at our house within 10 minutes of asking him to drop by on a random Saturday, and he had a few personal client referrals to come see our house within days. We were sold, and it certainly worked out. We now consider Max a family friend and appreciate all he did for us.

Max has helped me buy and sell a few investment properties and he and his team have been very thorough and great communicators throughout the research, purchase and sale process! Will definitely use Max and his team again.

Max represented me in the purchase of my first home, which can be a scary process, and I cannot say enough good things about him and his team. He was with me every step of the way. After setting up my inspection I had several follow ups, regarding the pipes, foundation, etc. and he attended each one of them, sharing his years of experience and providing advise on how to proceed.
