Sue Teng

We used Ms. Siewpeng Sue Teng, Elim Services, LLC (DBA Elim Realty) to represent us as our Buyers' agent. We have had a very unpleasant experience through Ms. Sue Teng and do not recommend using her. When showing the property, the tenants occupying the unit were sleeping and Ms. Teng quickly showed the unit only for a few minutes as if in a hurry. She didn't really show the whole property. We were not pleased when we got an e-mail that same night asking us if we planned on putting an offer. Without Ms. Teng even attempting to reschedule another time to show the property, we had to send our son next day to get a more thorough look. During the home inspection, Ms. Teng was not present. The inspector (whom Ms. Teng personally recommended), was surprised as he said Ms. Teng usually is present during this process. Because of this, we had an hour delay with the inspector due to a bedroom door being locked. On the closing day, all repair jobs for the property were supposed to be completed in order for us to sign off on the paperwork. Instead we found out one hour before the closing appointment, that these tasks had not yet been fully completed. The most important task being the repair of an electrical breaker; we later fought with the sellers and their agent for their failure to comply with the time frames in the Amendment because they hired an electrician who falsely completed the task; we had to travel down to Austin to check the job ourselves and were disappointed to find out the job was falsely completed and had actually caused the property to be more hazardous. Ms. Teng did little to help us and instead kept pressuring us to sign off on the remaining paperwork while giving us unprofessional opinions on the matter. When she communicated with the seller's agent, she did not consult with us first to get our opinions; instead she directly e-mailed the third party with us CC'd on the e-mails. One really unpleasant thing about Ms. Teng is that once we did sign off on the paperwork, she didn't even offer a handshake and instead just left. How unprofessional is that? We feel Ms. Teng should have put her clients’ interest first and communicated with the sellers’ agent in a timely manner for her clients. She shouldn't have disclosed negative information to the other parties during the negotiation period without consulting with her clients first. We faced financial loss, our lost time of work, our pain and suffering, and our emotional distress from this extremely negative experience.

Sue is really professional in selling and representing her clients as a real estate agent. She helped me and my wife throughout the whole process of selling our home and buying a new home.
