Ivonne is patience, enthusiastic, extremely efficient and professional from the initial meeting to the final closing. She helped find the right tenants for my property in 2015 and my house is still rented until 2018. She kept me informed of what to expect, answered all my questions and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable with the entire process. Ivonne was referred to me by another young agent with KW that I know personally and since I believe in the old adage that you don't mix business with pleasure, I thought it best not to use her. Ivonne and I got off to a bit of a rocky start, but once that she earned my trust, most everything else worked incredibly well. I have been in the financial advising business for 37 years and have owned 13 pieces of real estate over the years so I wasn't about to have a somewhat inexperienced agent with only a few short years in the business to tell a old timer with a more than average number of sales and acquisitions as well as refi's how to sell my property. Ivonne's feelings were hurt , but as they say, men are from Mars and women from Venus, surely explains that phenomenon. She hung in there and wasn't going to give up that easy. Before I even agreed to give her the listing she suggested that the paint color that I had picked out and had already purchased 15 gallons of, was not a color in trend for today's market. I took her advice with some reluctance . She was totally correct as evidenced by several people commenting on the choice of colors. It was then that I started to get those warm fuzzy feelings and hence I gave her the listing along with my trust. I felt that she was more than aggressive on the listing price but once again she was correct. Kudo's to her again. Of the three other agents that I had interviewed, all with many more years of experience, she was the only one who went over what I had expected as a asking price. to be quite honest, at first, I felt that she was just guessing, as with any of us, it is just guessing. But as she explained, with the long list of improvements and updates, she felt that the price was justified So I said, What the heck, I could always come down if she was that far off. I was also concerned that even if we got the asking price or close to it, that we still had to get a great appraisal for financing purposes and also it was the highest price of any of it's comp's, or more exactly. any of the houses in the neighborhood. Everything worked out wonderful and with the exception of The Reston Design Review Board which we have since come to agreement with, we flew through closing and a very, very happy ending to all involved, buyer's and seller.I would recommend Ivonne to anyone who is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic,and very pleasant real estate agent to aid them through the wonderful world of the sale or purchase of real estate in the Reston ,Herndon, Sterling and Ashburn area.
