Kathy Irving

After teaching English and traveling in Japan, China, Central America, and West Africa, Kathy finally settled in Cambridge in 1976. She taught English as a second language at Boston University and M.I.T., and made a positive career change into residential real estate in 1987 specializing in listing and selling condominiums. Seeking the opportunity to branch out into single and multi-family homes, she joined Hammond/Ingram, Rettig & Beaty in 1991. Within one year, she placed second in total volume in residential sales, and has remained a top producer. Kathy enjoys a diversity of properties, buyers, and sellers and is respected by the brokerage community, her clients, and customers for her patience and commitment, and her ability to listen well and skillfully negotiate a sale. As a result, she has built an impressive referral network of satisfied buyers and sellers.
