    • Lauren has sold 2 homes for me, and has helped me find one to buy. All transactions ran smoothly, and I received top dollar. Lauren really knows and understands the market! I have referred her to 3 different friends, all of whom have raved about the services she provides. A true professional!

    • When I decided to sell my home located on 434 Clayton Lane, Alexandria, Virginia I developed certain guidelines for myself that I would follow when interviewing a person that would sell my home. I developed six guidelines that I would try to follow with hiring that certain person to sell my home.1. Referral by a good friend; I interviewed a total of three people that I was introduced to by good friends that I interviewed to sell for a good but completive price.2. Speed of Service; was one of my important points asking of the interviewees with how busy are they and do they know how to prioritize their clients.3. Demeanor of that person; I wanted to interview a person that I would be impressed with for setting up my home for showing off to potential buyers and how I felt that person interacted with me. I wanted to hire a person that acted professional, looked professional yet could interact with potential buyers.4. Fix any errors or mistakes in a timely fashion during the process of selling my home; I ask for examples if they spotted and mistakes or errors their clients made and where they able to explain what the mistake was even during a closing to protect their client.5. Can this person maintain a friendly but professional rapport with a client; this to be is an important step to be able to form a business partnership that can be communicated with truth and honesty.6. Deliver the sale of my home on a timely schedule for a fair price; I was aware of certain homes that were on the market for too long because the price was too high and this violated a professional partnership if the client was not told the truth in my opinion. When I was introduced to Ms. Kivligan by one of my good friends after fifteen minutes of discussion I felt that my guidelines 1, 3 and 5 were for certain met with meeting Ms. Kivlighan. We agreed to a second meeting at my home to discuss a contract to sell my home.At the meeting at my home Ms. Kivlighan reviewed by home for being able to show to buyers suggested a few items which I agree to and I signed a contract which was on a Wednesday. Ms. Kivlighan asks if she could have an open house in my home on the next weekend which I agreed to.At the open house I reviewed how Ms. Kivlighan interacted with potential buyers and was very impressed that she had passed my guideline 5 again and I was impressed with her demeanor.Approximately two weeks later a fair price was offered that I accepted and we went to closing. Again Ms. Kivlighan reviewed all of the paperwork at closing to ensure my rights were protected and followed. These last steps met my guidelines 2, 5 and 6. To this writing Lauren and I still have a good professional partnership.

    • Lauren is by far the best agent my wife and I have ever used. She is a true professional who fought for our interests throughout the entire process. When we were willing to pay more for a house we liked she began calling people in her network to verify the true value. Her recommendation after researching the property ended up saving us $35,000 under the asking price. She cannot and will not bend to misinformation by opposing realtors due to the fact the she knows the market better than them. She and her team were top notch throughout the process and I can't stress enough the benefit of having her on YOUR side.

    • My sister had worked with Lauren before and recommended her to me because I was looking for a rock star agent. As a first time home buyer I was overwhelmed with everything so I needed someone who knew the industry in and out. Lauren managed to walk me through every step of the process with such great patience and alleviated all my stresses. She was always accessible and made me feel like her first priority during our interactions.
