Nick was great in all aspects throughout the sales process. This being our first time selling, Nick helped us through each step offering great advice and services. Marketing was impeccable and just what we wanted to see. He was also extremely knowledgeable of the market/transparent with the information, and worked as a friend and partner. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone that is looking to sell (or even purchase) a home.

Short Summary: Nick works on your behalf, around your requirements, constraints, schedules. Has fantastic local knowledge about the neighborhoods, schools, commute, everything that matters in decision making, and you can learn how to be punctual and before time from him. Elaborating: We made Nick our agent on a hunch when we ended up in one of his open house. He was not trying to sell himself, but something (including his very nicely managed open house) made us spontaneously ask him to be our agent. And we are very glad we did. Nick understood our budget constraints, our neighborhood requirements and more importantly, our taste in a home, and would limit his recommendations to those which we would most often like, instead of flooding us with irrelevant ones. Our first offer after several open houses, we put at a price below his suggestion and he gladly took it to the sellers. After that we had to take a break because of our newborn, and he left us alone. When we were ready and found houses in our area of choice, he started working with us on getting an offer ready. The next offer we made, we got the house. - Very critical during the search was his knowledge about local things that matter. Including which schools are good, which day cares are good, what shopping area is near what house. - He also had an eye for subtle details which we would miss, like "that house is next to a high tension power line", "that house is too close to a train track", "This house faces is adjacent to a busy street" etc. - As market started to show signs of slowdown, he first observed that early, and later tempered his aggressiveness accordingly, to help us put in a less aggressive offer - After the offer was accepted and while we waited for closing, he would still be there with us at the house several times to show to multiple contractors (for remodels) including few of his own recommendations. And he would always get there before us, and worked flexibly around our schedules. - He spent a lot of time brainstorming with us the different ideas we could use to plan our remodel. We continue to consult him even now on phone for our homes ongoing remodel. In a nutshell, we are very glad we ran into him and took a leap of faith. We would recommend him as your agent with no doubts.

During June 2018 we visited a friend at Vancouver WA and fall in love with that city. It was a perfect retirement place for us, so we bought a house in there during July 2018. Originally we were planning to sell our San Jose house the following spring, but after talked to several real estate brokers we decide to sell San Jose house immediately due to the housing market change. After interviewed several brokers we choose Nick Meyer due to 1) his market analysis and knowledge about our community 2) boutique broker firm style that serve its client from contract signed to the house sold, including staging 3) professional presentation and people skills. Since selling SJ house was not our original plan, I have a pre-booked July ticket to London to meet my daughter. The whole schedule was so tight and has to orchestra perfectly to beat the market trend change. We followed his schedule to do our part and I was able to visit my daughter in London. I also like his pricing strategy. We took his suggestion to place price lower than the market (since market already over the peak which was spring of 2018, and market in general just get 1 or 2 offers) and staging the house beautifully. He put pre-sale flies to our neighborhood and posted the coming soon poster. We will able to sell our house at the highest price in our community before even we officially open house. I would strong recommend Nick Meyer. We are really happy that we made a right choice.

Nick was absolutely a pleasure to work with. He took to time to understand clearly what we looking for in a house. Nick helped refine our search and found the perfect house for us. Post offer, Nick early articulated the next steps and walked us through the process. He insured we fully understood each document. When I started the process of buying my first home, I was a bit overwhelmed, but Nick made things easier. He was quick to respond to my questions, never pressured me, and kept me informed about the next steps in the process. In my case, Nick went above and beyond. His wife gave birth to their second child the day my offer was accepted. Then my lender broke the news that there was going to be an issue with the HOA per company policy. Nick quickly connected me with another lender and we were able to close in less than 3 weeks. Throughout those final weeks Nick continued be helpful and available for questions, all while having a newborn at home. I would recommend working with Nick.

Nick was great helping us on the purchase of our home in San Jose, California. We knew that the market in the Silicon Valley was very competitive, so we were not sure if we were going to be able to buy a home in the area we were interested in. Nick was excellent explaining to us all the processes of buying our home. He showed us his deep knowledge about the Silicon Valley market and he made us more comfortable. Nick was always responsive and provided feedback about the houses we were interested in. When we found a house that we liked and our offer was not accepted, he provided suggestions on what to do next and never pressured us during the process. We finally reached an agreement and we had a smooth close in 3 weeks. During the process of closing, we needed to get window treatments for our home that needed some time to deliver, Nick took time on the weekend to be with us while the measurements were done, so we could receive these on time. We would definitely recommend working with Nick. We appreciated everything he accomplished for us during buying our “forever home.”

This was our first house and with our baby arriving soon, we had a hard deadline. After having searched for THE home for a month without any luck, a friend highly recommended Nick Meyer. We have to say - it was an absolute pleasure working with Nick and even though house hunt is a rather difficult and involving process, he made it a very easy, seamless and stress-free experience for us. Nick won our trust and we were rest assured that we were in good hands. He listened to all our requirements, brainstormed with us to help us get more clarity and guided us really well enabling us to see the pros and cons of each home but at the same time giving us our space and time to think through well. He was very punctual, easily reachable and highly organized. He always did his homework in advance being well prepared for the tours and we could see all the hard work he did in background before every tour gathering all the relevant information and doing an amazing analysis. With his attention to details, he was able to identify and highlight important aspects of the homes we toured helping us figure out additional hidden costs which were otherwise easy to miss. Apart from being very personable, what stood out was Nick’s remarkable knowledge about the real estate trends and various zip codes within the Bay Area which came in very handy while shortlisting the houses and helped us to quickly narrow down to the locations that best worked for us. In addition Nick was very experienced and well versed with the entire house buying process, making it extremely simple for us to understand its complexity and nuances. He collaborated very well with the seller’s agents and other people involved in the process such as the lenders, escrow team etc helping us to close the escrow in a really short time. In addition, what surprised us was that he not only had a great deal of knowledge about the real estate but also about the home construction and renovation. He has an acute sense of design and he really helped us figure out how we could transform a space we didn’t like giving us a whole lot of new perspective. Things such as giving us our space as we entered a home for a tour, making us feel comfortable enabling us to have an honest discussions, being extremely patient through the entire process even though we rejected a good number of homes, really helped us to not feel rushed into a decision as important as this. As a result at the end we were completely convinced and beyond doubt happy with our final choice. Last but not the least, Nick continued to be a part of our journey even as we closed the formalities. He spent hours with us and our contractors, brainstorming on various ideas on how to best renovate the home. Nick clearly goes beyond and it’s easy to see he really cares, building a solid relationship. A BIG thanks to him for being a part of such an important journey for us and the finding THE home for us.
