Celia Adamec

Born and raised in New York and Washington, DC, Celia has lived in Colorado since 1997. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Yale University and a Master’s in Museum and Field Studies from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She has worked for the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, WY; the CU Natural History Museum; the Golden History Center; and spent over 6 years at Denver Botanic Gardens where she coordinated and oversaw adult public programs, lecture and film series, and professional symposia. She went on to co-found and manage a small urban farm in Arvada, CO where she grew heirloom vegetables and flowers for a CSA and three local farmer’s markets, and earned a Certificate from the Building Urban Farmers program at Colorado State University.
