  • Sarah listed and sold my home

      I picked Reynolds Team for my property sale because they agreed to adjust their commission; initially (before signing listing agreement) made me feel valued and would assist in properly navigating me through a slightly more complicated and sensitive home sale. I was extremely incorrect in my original assessment. The result of selecting Jennifer Dennis at Reynolds couldn't be further disappointing and I would pay 2x a higher commission to select a different agent + agency and I would still finish the transaction with more money in my pocket. My experiences resulted in limited service, follow-through and due diligence in general but more importantly on laws/regulations at multiple levels including the listing agents manager, regional manager and Chief Growth Officer. The listing agent is/was required to explain/share with the seller the rules of state related to the non-residency property tax and the waiver option which could have been applied/executed within a certain amount of time during the contract process but was not as that dialog never occured until a day before the settlement date which by that point it was too late to course correct. This ended up costing me over $13K from my net proceeds of the sale. Finally, my closing paperwork was incorrect (requiring I reschedule 24 hrs later) as the calculation were wrong requiring I the seller to communicate to title/closing agent because the listing agent was just not equipped, trained, educated enough to handle the above-mentioned complexilities. To that end, no written apology or accountability or concessions have been provided by The Reynolds Team even after multiple escalations at multiple levels.
