Erica Broughton

I was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and grew up surrounded by real estate. My father and grandfather have been part of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices family since 1974, so of course I thought I would do anything BUT become a Realtor. After studying Communications and Psychology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, I tried out a variety of careers, but none of them felt like the right fit. After moving to Raleigh, I decided to dive into the family business and have never looked back. I love the Triangle because it has the perfect mix of all of my favorite things – a growing city where there is always something going on and miles of greenway connecting numerous parks. Not to mention it is an easy weekend trip to the coast or the mountains. I spend my free time exploring all that the Triangle has to offer with my husband Michael and our dog Parker.
